I graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in June 2014. I double majored in English and Political Science. I also completed my teaching certification coursework through Athens State University. I am highly qualified to teach general social sciences.

This is my fourth year teaching at Robert C. Hatch High School! I teach U.S. History I (10th Grade), U.S. History II (11th Grade), and Orientation to Success. I have also taught English 12 (Honors and Traditional), English 9 (Honors and Traditional), World History (9th Grade), Theater Produciton, and Theater I. Before teaching in Alabama, I worked as a teaching assistant at the UCLA Lab School, a K-6 school located on the UCLA campus.

I am originally from Central California! I graduated from UCLA in 2014 with two Bachelor of Arts degrees. During my time at UCLA, I worked as a student coordinator for the Bruin Ambassador Program of UCLA Undergraduate Admission. This program sent UCLA students to high schools throughout LA County to provide admission presentations, UC Application workshops, personal statement workshops, etc. I also served as Academic Affairs Commissioner my senior year at UCLA. The Academic Affairs Commissioner is an elected undergraduate student government official who represents students on all mattters of education policy to faculty and administration. I hope to work in education policy in the future.

I love world traveling, running, a well-made chai latte, and Starbucks holiday cups.
